On Friday the 27th September 2024 there will be a Fire Drill at Caister Lodge and it is imperative that all residents participate in this exercise for their own safety. Please keep an eye on the notice board for the updated information re the fire drill. All residents should have a Fire Evacuation notice at the back of their apartment entrance door with all the details pertaining to a Fire Evacuation process. If you do not have a notice in your apartment, please report same to the reception and one will be provided.

A reminder to all residents that the Shall we Dance show will be taking place at the Playhouse Opera Theatre from the 13th to the 15th September 2024. Residents who are interested in attending this show can check the notice board for more details.

The next Braai Day will be held on Heritage Day, the 24th September 2024. Come and enjoy a lunch on the Caister veranda.

On Wednesday the 25th September 2024 the next quarterly quiz will be held in the lounge from 6:00 pm. Get your teams together and come and enjoy an entertaining evening.

The Residents Christmas Lunch will be held on Wednesday the 4th December 2024 in the dining room. Save the Date.

Residents who have requested Regular Visitor Barcodes and not yet received them may enquire at the reception to collect same.

Once again, residents are reminded that food is not to be removed from the dining room save for one fruit at breakfast time and the dinner from the Sunday night buffet. If you require any food in your apartment, please order same from reception which will be delivered to your unit by the room service waiters.

Once again, residents are reminded to please return crockery and glassware that has been removed from the dining room or not given back to the tray waiters on request which is creating shortages and not to mention an exorbitant cost to replace same.

Please continue to use water sparingly as this resource is vital for our existence and to ensure we don’t end up with water restrictions in the future. The current levels of the dams that feed the greater Durban area is listed below for your information.
